Vancouver has been receiving a dose of sexy over the last two weekends, with dance troupe Army Of Sass taking over the stage at Celebrities Nightclub.

On Saturday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 14, the Nuvo Burlesque training and performing group presented "High Heel Revolution": a high energy, high spectacle dance show featuring burlesque, singing, pole dancing, and more.

Women of all ages, shapes, and ethnicities took to the stage, performing an array of choreographed dances to songs like Beyoncé's "Run The World (Girls)."

"Sexy dance happens to be a really accessible platform that people of a lot of different ages and backgrounds can tap into and put their own spin on," Portia Favro, a Sergeant of Sass with the Army Of Sass, previously told The Huffington Post B.C. "I like to say in my classes that you can't do anything wrong."

This isn't the first time Vancouver has recently been involved in the sexy dance scene—last month, a competition to crown Vancouver's Next Bombshell also took place at Celebrities.
