With all the chaos of family dinners, opening presents and snow forts that's about to happen next week, it's not always easy to capture the moment.
And despite the camera always being out, Jason Thomson, curator of online photography community Frame One, says this time of the year brings out some of the worst photography.

Luckily for you, Thomson and his friends over at Frame One have 11 simple steps on how to take better holiday photos with a digital camera or your cellphone.
