Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are officially engaged.
The Miami Heat basketball player proposed to his longtime actress girlfriend this past weekend. Both celebrities posted pictures of the giant rock on Instagram with Union saying, "Sooooo this happened... #Yessss."
Wade, 32, proposed to Union, 41, right before a team Christmas party on Saturday. The ring, which is said to be an 8.5-carat cushion cut diamond ring was made by celebrity jewelry designer Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills.
Although the couple hasn't discussed the price of the rock (and we can't really foresee them doing so in the future), TMZ.com reports the ring cost the NBA superstar nearly $1 million.
Union, who starred in "Bring It On" and "Think Like A Man," has been dating Wade since 2009.
