Some people take to their keyboards to write up year-in-review news summaries. Others open up cans of Play-Doh.

This month, Play-Doh, owned by Hasbro Inc., shared 10 standout moments from 2013 on its Facebook and Instagram pages: “some funny, some sad, some strange – all inspiring,” according to the album’s description. Each one was given the modelling clay treatment.

Some of the chosen top 10 newsworthy events of the year include actress Jennifer Lawrence’s Oscar win, Dominique Ansel’s cronut creation, Boston’s World Series win, and Ylvis’ viral hit “What Does The Fox Say.”
