Manitobans Face Cold Temperatures, Extreme Wind Chill Warnings

WINNIPEG - Baby, it's cold outside.

People in many parts of Manitoba continue to face harshly frigid temperatures.

Environment Canada has issued extreme wind chill warnings for the Winnipeg area and parts of southern and northern Manitoba.

Wind chills into the minus 50's are possible.

Forecasters caution that at these extreme temperatures frostbite on exposed skin may happen in less than five to 10 minutes.

An Arctic ridge of high pressure is expected to keep Manitoba under this freezing air mass for the next few days.
