Jong Joo Park, 82, was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Goreway Drive and Morningstar Drive on Saturday evening.
Park was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said that the vehicle involved in the collision had fled the scene.
On Tuesday, police announced the arrest of 20-year-old Keuth Geng of Mississauga, who has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident that resulted in a death.
The accused is due to appear in a Brampton court today.
