The provincial leaders voted most and least popular in a new Angus Reid survey should come as no surprise.
Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall earned the top spot yet again, with an approval rating of 66 per cent, down from 68 per cent in September, 2013. He has consistently earned an approval rating of at least 66 per cent since December 2012, the polling firm noted.
Recently elected Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil, who led Liberals to victory by a wide margin in October, came in second with an approval rating of 57 per cent. His ousted predecessor Darrell Dexter received a 28 per cent approval rating in September's poll.
"Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia are the only provinces where more respondents approve of their premiers' performance than disapprove," according to Angus Reid Global.

Least And Most Popular Premiers
The least popular premier is Newfoundland and Labrador's Kathy Dunderdale once again. Only 24 per cent approve of her performance, an increase from 20 per cent in September.
Although, the Telegram noted, the poll was conducted before Dunderdale faced criticism over her response to power outages and rolling blackouts during brutal winter weather in early January.
Following the peak of the outages, vice-chairman of consulting firm Summa Strategies Tim Powers told CTV they might have been "an opportunity lost for the premier," who has been struggling in the polls.
"You can have a general sense of positivity coming from the public when they feel that you're leading when they think you should be leading," he said.
Angus Reid conducted the online survey of 6,580 Canadians in nine provinces from Dec. 3 to Dec. 13 2013.
