Bodies of father, son pulled from Scarborough house fire

Toronto police are treating the deaths of a father and son whose bodies were recovered from a residential fire on Wednesday afternoon as suspicious.

A call came in at 1:30 p.m. for a fire at 10 Jeffton Crescent, near Markham Road and Ellesmere Road, and when firefighters arrived the blaze had extinguished itself.

Police the bodies of a 87-year-old father and his 56-years-old were discovered inside building, which had heavy damage.

The Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate.
