Groin Kicking Video Investigated By Vancouver Police

Police Investigate DISTURBING Video

Vancouver police are investigating a disturbing video that appears to show a man being paid to be kicked in the groin.

The video, posted to YouTube on Wednesday (but since removed by the poster), reportedly takes place along the Granville entertainment strip in downtown Vancouver. It captures a man kicking another man in the groin and then aggressively asking if he wants "the f***ing money."

Shortly after, another man steps forward and offers to be the next kicking victim. When that man falls back from the impact, he is chased by the kicker who yells that he wants his money back.

"The disturbing video has been forwarded to an investigative team so they may review the incident," Sgt. Randy Fincham told The Huffington Post B.C. in an email. "As it is early in the investigation, there is limited information to provide at this time."

Perhaps more disturbing is the crowd of people who gathered outside to watch the incident unfold outside the Roxy nightclub. Many are heard laughing. At the end, a witness is heard saying, "That's so f***ed up."

An anonymous person sent the video to The Vancouver Sun, and told the newspaper that the incident horrified him.

It's unclear if the people being kicked are panhandlers, homeless, or drunk.
