It's not a stretch to call Olympic figure skating champion Scott Moir a perfectionist.
The Ilderton, Ontario-born 26-year-old skater and his partner Tessa Virtue won the short dance competition at the Canadian figure skating championships in mid-January, but he still told CTV News it wasn't their best performance.
They then went on to win the Saturday free skate, nabbing their sixth Canadian title and setting a national record.

The 2010 Olympics gold medal winners hope to win the top prize skating together again in Sochi. But it was a long journey to this point for Moir, who started skating at age three.
