There may never be another Evgeni Plushenko but Canadian figure skater Patrick Chan could easily be a runner-up, career-wise and fashion-wise.

The 23-year-old is competing for the gold for men's figure skating at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi (GO TEAM CANADA!) and while we're excited to see how he fairs in the men's free skate on Friday, we're also psyched to see what he wears.

Update: Patrick Chan won silver!

Chan may not have the flamboyance of Plushenko but the three-time gold Worlds champion enjoys a bit of razzle dazzle and romance on the ice.

So, to honour one of Canada's best and brightest skaters, we take a look at his style evolution.
