Tyrone Thomas Dead: Suspect In Fatal Stabbing Arrested In Victoria

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - A suspect wanted in a fatal stabbing outside a Prince George, B.C., convenience store nearly four years ago has been arrested in Victoria.

RCMP say the 20-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder.

His name can't be released because he was 16 years old when the victim was killed.

Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the early hours of July 9, 2010 and found a 39-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

Tyrone Thomas was transported to hospital but died of his injuries.

Mounties say Thomas had moved to Fort St. James and was visiting his hometown of Prince George when he was murdered.
