Canada beat Switzerland 3-1 on Monday to set-up a gold-medal matchup in women's hockey with the United States on Thursday.
The Canadians came out and dominated Switzerland with a three-goal first period. But the Swiss showed some life, potting a power-play goal in the second frame and keeping Canada off the scoresheet in the third.

The United States thoroughly dominated their semifinal opponent Sweden, winning their game 6-1. Canada and the United States will play for gold, Thursday, Noon ET (9 pm Sochi time). The Swiss will face the Swedes in the bronze-medal match-up.
Canada beat the United States 3-2 earlier in the Olympic tournament.
