Martin Godin, 54, was found critically injured by a gunshot wound on Feb. 2 inside his Saint-Isidore, Que., home.
Godin was found unconscious, alongside his two daughters. Both girls — Béatrice, 11, and Médora, 13 — died from gunshot wounds.
Godin was taken to hospital, where he remained in critical condition for the past three weeks. He died last night.
Godin was also considered the prime suspect in the deaths of the girls' mother, Nancy Samson, and her boyfriend, Benoit Daigle, 39. They were found dead about 70 kilometres away in Sainte-Croix, earlier on Feb. 2.
Police said their investigation will continue.
