Man Stabs Himself, 2 Women At Princeton Dairy Queen

Investigators are still trying to piece together what happened after multiple stabbings yesterday sent three people to hospital in the rural town of Princeton, B.C.

RCMP are asking for witnesses to come forward after a man allegedly stabbed two women, then turned the knife on himself in the town's Dairy Queen restaurant parking lot at roughly 5 p.m., PT.

The two women were rushed to hospital in Penticton, where they underwent surgery today. The man was airlifted to Kelowna in critical condition with deep lacerations to his neck.

RCMP Sergeant Barry Kennedy said staff at the restaurant were shocked.

"They were traumatized by seeing what they saw," he said.

"Of course the females had run into the Dairy Queen for help and the employees had witnessed all this."

Kennedy said all three of the people involved knew each other, but did not clarify to what degree.
