Justin Bieber At SXSW: Singer Dedicates Song For Selena Gomez (VIDEO)

It’s been hard lately to go long without more ridiculous Justin Bieber news, and that’s true here at South-by-Southwest in Austin, Texas, too.

The ten-day interactive, film and music conference, attracts over 60,000 attendees to see the likes of Edward Snowden, Lena Dunham, Bill Cosby, Coldplay, Lady Gaga and many more. It is also annually accused of jumping the shark, and the latest piece of evidence was the surprise performance by Justin Bieber at Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden.

The embattled pop star, who skipped out on a Toronto court appearance for an alleged assault on a limo driver assault, showed up at Scooter Braun's private event and performed "As Long As You Love Me." Braun has served as Bieber's manager since the start of the singer's career.

He dedicated the song to apparently back-on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez, saying "this next song goes out to my baby" while she stood side stage. Bieber's lawyer, Seth Weinstein, will appear in court on his behalf on Monday, the Toronto Star reports.

UPDATE: Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden management confirmed Bieber's impromptu performance at the restaurant and bar on Sunday, adding that while they weren't aware the singer was on the premise, Beiber performed, hung out and left around 12:30 Monday morning. Ben Siegel, the venue's owner, spoke with the Huffington Post Canada, confirming that at no point during the show, did they shut down bar service for its patrons.

But things didn't go as smoothly as hoped after a report emerged the venue's bar service was reportedly shut down because the singer is only 20 and the drinking age in Texas is 21.

When reached for comment, an employee at the Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden, who wished not to be identified, denied the reports, saying that "we do not serve anyone under age," but said alcohol was still being served at the surprised all ages show.
