Winter Challenge Video Shows How Far British Columbians Will Go

WATCH: B.C. Man Jumps Into A FROZEN LAKE

)

When a Terrace, B.C. man was challenged to fully submerge himself into a cold body of water (known as the Winter Challenge), he decided to take a dip in the lake outside his house — the FROZEN lake outside his house.

The man, who goes by Captain Quinn on YouTube, uploaded a video of himself using a chainsaw and then an auger to make his way through approximately 18 inches of ice.

Watching him go through all this trouble (dressed in only boots, short-shorts, and a fur hat, we might add) just to dunk himself in freezing water is somehow just bizarre enough to make sense. Only in Canada, eh?

The best part of this whole thing? As is Winter Challenge tradition, when you complete your task, you must then challenge someone else. The next Winter Challenge victim? Captain Quinn's mom.
