Brian McKeever golden again in Sochi

KRASNAYA POYLANA, Russia - Canada's Brian McKeever has another Paralympic three-peat.

The visually impaired cross-country skier won Sunday's 10-kilometre race to pick up his third gold medal at the Sochi Paralympic Winter Games.

The 34-year-old from Canmore, Alta., also won three gold medals at the 2010 Games in Vancouver and has now collected a total of 10 during his storied career.

McKeever finished Sunday's race in a time of 23 minutes 18.1 seconds, just 8.1 seconds ahead of Russia's Stanislav Chokhlaev.

France's Thomas Clarion won bronze after clocking in at 24:14.9.

McKeever's other golden performances at the Sochi Games include victories in the men's 20-kilometre race and the 1-kilometre sprint.
