Toronto Fashion Week Gets Political: Olivia Chow, Karen Stintz, Robyn Doolittle Visit The Tents

Toronto Fashion Week Gets Political.. Literally

Toronto's mayoral campaign trail crossed paths with the Fashion Week runways on Friday.

Candidates Olivia Chow and Karen Stintz were spotted alongside reporter Robyn Doolittle at the World Mastercard Fashion Week tents at David Pecaut Square in downtown Toronto. The stars of Toronto's civic politics scene posed for a photo with local designer Anu Raina.

Chow and Stintz wore scarfs from the designer that were inspired by the city the candidates hope to soon run, with Stintz sporting the designer's coveted 'subway scarf.' Raina's fall/winter 2014 collection, T.O², showed Friday and was inspired by the designer's first fall in Toronto (She's originally from Kashmir).

Pics or it didn't happen:

Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve. Drake would be proud.
