Scuba diver drowns in Morrison's Quarry in western Quebec

Police say a 53-year-old scuba diver drowned in western Quebec in an area that is also known as a popular bungee jumping destination.

Police in the Outaouais say the diver drowned in the icy waters on Sunday afternoon.

It is not clear why the man was in the water, but he went under and never came back up.

Morrison's Quarry is home to the Great Canadian Bungee Corporation and it's known as a popular spot for divers.
