Furthering Vancouver's growing status as a hot shopping destination, the city has Italian luxury brand Max Mara's first North American bridal boutique.
The brand's wedding gowns were previously only available in Europe, realweddings.ca reports.
Catherine Guadagnuolo, president of Vestis Fashion Group, told the site that she wanted the bridal space to be elegant, relaxed, and intimate.
Guadagnuolo is responsible for bringing Max Mara to Vancouver for the first time back in 1985, according to The Vancouver Sun. Vestis now operates three Max Mara stores and two Max Mara Weekend stores in Vancouver, plus a new location expected to open in Calgary in May.
The new Vancouver store is also the largest in Canada, Retail Insider reports.
