Forget about the Kimye Vogue cover; the best thing to happen to the fashion bible recently is none other than Mindy Kaling.
"The Mindy Project" star appears in a gorgeous photo spread inside the magazine's April 2014 issue wearing a fabulous red dress and polka-dot heels.
But the best part of Mindy's Vogue feature isn't the photo or the accompanying text (although both are awesome): it's the funny related video.
In the vid, the 34-year-old hangs out in the Vogue closet while stylish editors get her to try on outfit options for the photo shoot.
One outfit she tries on is a white pleated dress underneath a cream cardigan. Mindy describes her feelings towards the ensemble in the most hilarious way:
"I love it and I think it's very elegant and very young Laura Bush," she says in the video. "It's totally chic, like I've never had a sexual thought before in my life. It's sort of, like, elegant and joyless in a way that I think is like, exciting."
The stylish author (who can rock a crop top like no other) also gets Anna Wintour's colleagues to pose for selfies with her and she tries on ridiculous accessories like an oversized helmet.
