Paramedic Arrested For Allegedly Hiding Bathroom Camera

A paramedic in northern B.C. has been arrested in connection to a voyeurism investigation.

The unnamed paramedic allegedly hid a camera in the women's washroom of the ambulance station at 100 Mile House, reports Global News. He was arrested while looking at pictures from the camera on his computer.

He is not the unit chief and was not on duty when he was taken into custody at the station on Saturday, CKPG reports.

The paramedic was a part-time employee and has been "removed from service," B.C. Ambulance spokeswoman Kelsie Carwithen told The Province. There is a publication ban in the case, reports the newspaper.
