Canada's medical marijuana companies are open for business. So far Health Canada has approved 12 companies to grow and sell pot to patients under its new regime, which the department estimates will eventually create a $1.3-billion annual bud business. But there are another 600 applicants waiting in the wings.
This interactive map shows where the 12 licensed manufacturers are located. Many of the addresses here are P.O. box numbers provided to Health Canada, and they may not be the actual location of a marijuana grow-op.
