Tatiana Maslany On 'Orphan Black' Season 2, Her Dream Role(s) And The Many Clones (VIDEO)

WATCH: Is There Anything Tatiana Maslany Can't Do?

Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany must be breaking some sort of record. On "Orphan Black," Maslany plays (or has played) seven different characters, each with distinct characteristics and personalities. Not even soap-opera actors can make that claim.

And in Season 2 of "Orphan Black," a new clone (Jennifer Fitzsimmons) is being introduced, so make that eight. Maslany continues to amaze critics and fans alike with her entirely convincing performances -- and from what I've seen of Season 2 so far, she keeps it up.

With the Season 2 premiere mere days away, HuffPost Canada TV chatted with the modest Maslany about landing these dream role(s), playing a mom (which she isn't in real life), and a certain song-and-dance routine in Season 2, Episode 1. Yes, folks, it seems she can do it all.

"Orphan Black" Season 2 premieres on Saturday, April 19 at 9 p.m. ET on Space in Canada and on BBC America in the U.S.
