Nearly 159,000 potholes filled in Toronto so far this year

The battle against potholes continues in Toronto, with crews having patched 158,964 holes in the road since the start of the year.

The city has previously reported that it is dealing with nearly twice the number of potholes that it usually does, as a result of a harsh winter.

That has resulted in some 35 to 40 crews taking to the streets each day in order to make the needed repairs.
