Vogue Being Sued Over Controversial Kim Kardashian Issue

Vogue Getting Sued Over That Kimye Issue

Not everyone has moved on from the controversial (and bestselling) Kim Kardashian-Kanye West Vogue issue!

Ricky Spicer, an ex-member of the defunct '70s soul group The Ponderosa Twins Plus One, is suing the venerable fashion magazine, but not because he hates the cover stars.

Spicer is suing the mag for the same reason he sued Kanye West last year: he claims that West's song "Bound 2" used his vocals without permission.

Vogue used the "Bound 2" track in their exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the Kimye photoshoot without asking permission from Spicer, which prompted the lawsuit.

The suit against Vogue publisher Condé Nast says, "Mr. Spicer’s voice is used substantially throughout the video, comprising approximately 44 percent of the lyrics.”

As of press time, Vogue has not responded to the lawsuit, but we're sure Anna Wintour is happy with the attention her polarizing issue is getting.
