Suryan Giama Missing, Homicide Detectives Called In

CPS

CALGARY - Police in Calgary have called in homicide detectives to investigate the case of a man missing for more than two months.

Suryan Giama, who is 25, was last seen by a family member on Feb. 17 at a home in the Woodbine neighbourhood.

His car was discovered in March.

Police say their investigation has led them to believe that Giama may have been murdered.

Officers are working to trace his final movements prior to his disappearance.

Giama, who is of Somalian descent, is described as being six feet tall and weighing 150 pounds.

He has a slim build and was sporting a goatee the last time he was seen.
