RCMP say 100 owners reported 'keyed' vehicles or scratches across paint

COQUITLAM, B.C. - About 100 drivers within a few-block radius in Coquitlam, B.C., have filed police reports after someone went wrecked the paint on their vehicles, apparently with a key.

RCMP say the vandalism likely occurred between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

Police haven't identified any suspects yet, but are hoping someone may have some information and will contact them.

In 2008, about 1,000 cars were keyed in Coquitlam, Vancouver and Burnaby.
