Rappers T.I. And The Game In Standoff With LA Police (VIDEO)

WATCH: Rappers T.I. And The Game In Standoff With LAPD

The hip-hop community and police have never been on the best terms anywhere, but that is especially true in Los Angeles where the LAPD inspired the 1988 NWA song "Fuck the Police" and countless other rhymes in the wake of the 1992 L.A. riots.

Well, last night there was a standoff between T.I. and The Game after a fight outside of Supperclub. When members of the rappers' entourages were denied entry, one of them took a swing at a security guard, which led to a violent brawl with the bouncers beating up two of them men trying to get in.

This prompted T.I. and Game to leave the club to jump into the fray, believing the police, not the bouncers, were responsible for attacking their friends. T.I. can be heard yelling "This a crime scene? There are a lot of people here to beat up. We've got good lawyers" as he confronted the phalanx of cops holding batons and guns. Once T.I. realizes his mistake, the rappers and their friends confront the club security.

But while the situation was intense, it did not erupt into further violence, perhaps due to the cameraman filming the confrontation. At one point, someone pointed at the cameraman and then the police and yelled, "Yo, TMZ, put it up!"

LAist reports that the two men who were beaten were taken to LAPD Hollywood division station but did not press charges against the club security.
