Leave it to Benedict Cumberbatch to upsatge all the beautiful women on the 2014 Met Gala red carpet.

The "Sherlock" star looked dashing (are we surprised? No.) on Monday night in New York City, where he adhered to the strict "white tie" dress code and wore tails, a white vest and shirt and a whole 'lotta British attitude!

This will be the first time the 37-year-old has attended the prestigious event (also known as the fashion world's Oscars) and we can't wait to see if he will photobomb Anna Wintour. Because he should. He definitely should.
