Thieves Caught Napping In Stolen Truck

That's One Way To Get Caught

Apparently there is rest for the wicked, although it will result in your arrest.

Two thieves were caught fast asleep in Agassiz, B.C. on Saturday night — in the truck they stole.

A police officer got suspicious when he spotted the truck parked in a boat launch lot without a boat trailer attached, according to an RCMP news release.

It turns out the licence plate, truck and a snowmobile in the back were all stolen.

The sleeping men, 23-year-old Raymond Thiffault and a 33-year-old Chilliwack resident, were roused and arrested for possession of stolen property.

"Thieves may nap but the police are ever vigilant," Cpl. Len vanNieuwenhuizen said in the statement.
