Man who made videos of women changing in Edmonton stores gets conditional sentence

EDMONTON - An Edmonton man who made video recordings of women changing in clothing stores has avoided jail time.

Joshua Meilleur, who is 29, has received a 12-month conditional sentence after pleading guilty to five counts of voyeurism.

Several other charges, including one count of making child pornography, were withdrawn.

Police were called in December 2012 about someone videotaping women in change rooms at the Sherwood Park Mall and Londonderry Mall.

Meilleur must also complete 100 hours of community service.
