Band's Video Reminds Us How To Be A Kid In Vancouver

WATCH: Little Kid's Big Vancouver Adventure

As adults, we may recognize the beauty and culture that Vancouver offers, but sometimes it takes a child to really remind us that there's an adventure waiting at the end of every street.

Local folk band Old Man Canyon has released the music video for their song "Wiser," and it makes us want to don a knapsack and head out on a journey.

The video shows an adorable child sneaking out to explore the big city while his parents are asleep. Complete with teddy bear backpack, wool sweater, and colourful map, the boy goes on an adventure that takes him around the city, eventually ending up at his desired destination: Stanley Park's famous Hollow Tree.

As the band harmoniously sings about being "wiser and growing taller" over an upbeat folk melody, the little boy runs around the city with the kind of wonder and excitement that leaves us with a serious case of the warm and fuzzies.

"Wiser" comes from Old Man Canyon's "Phantoms & Friends" EP.
