WHAT WE'RE COOKING THIS WEEK: Healthy breakfast
Rise and shine! Breakfast is arguably the most important meal of the day. If you're bored of your usual cereal or plain oatmeal, it's time to consider the variety of healthy breakfasts out there that are super healthy and simple to make.
Swap your packaged boxed oatmeal with added sugars to rolled oats and coconut milk, and switch up your white pancake flour and syrup for buckwheat flour and fresh fruits. And if you're a fan of eggs, you should be happy to know they are high in protein and vitamins like A, D and B12.
So whether you only have time for a five minute smoothie or have the luxury of a long muffin baking session, make sure breakfast is priority. Studies have shown people who don't skip breakfast are leaner, healthier and have more energy throughout the day.
