Michael Jackson's hologram, the star attraction at the Billboard Music Awards, performed "Slave to the Rhythm" from his latest posthumous album "Xscape."
The "performance" required "nearly half a year of planning, choreography and filming, not to mention the development of new technology." It almost didn't make it onstage, either, after a last-minute lawsuit tried to kibosh the "performance," a projected 3D image like the one famously used to bring Tupac to Coachella.
