St. Michael's Hospital scene of 3-alarm fire

Firefighters are dealing with a three-alarm fire at St. Michael’s Hospital in downtown Toronto.

The call came in just before 5:15 p.m.

Police report that Shuter, Queen, Victoria and Dundas streets are closed between Jarvis and Yonge streets.

The hospital is bounded by Shuter, Bond, Queen and Victoria streets.

The St. Michael’s website says the hospital has more than 5,700 staff and 467 acute adult inpatient beds.
