Teen wounded in downtown restaurant stabbing

A 17-year-old is recovering from a stab wound to his arm after a fight at a McDonald's restaurant on the corner of Mackay Street and Ste-Catherine Street West early this morning.

Police say the victim was stabbed during an altercation with numerous people inside the restaurant around 2:30 a.m.

He fled to a nearby police station and officers responded to the scene. 

Four suspects — two men aged 29 and 25 and two women aged 18 and 19 — were taken into custody. 

The restaurant was reopened shortly after 6 a.m.
