Christina Munchinsky Wows 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' With Hula Hooping (VIDEO)

Prairie Teen Wins Ellen's Talent Contest

Christina Munchinsky is off to St. Croix in the Caribbean after the teen from Brandon, Man. wowed Ellen DeGeneres with her hula hooping skills.

Munchinsky, 17, won the second-ever "Here's My Talent Contest" on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last Friday by spinning 70 hula hoops at the same time, The Winnipeg Sun reported.

"I was a little bit nervous, because 70 is a lot of hoops and I don't do that one usually," Munchinsky told the newspaper.

She beat out two contestants for the Caribbean grand prize. One played "Christmas Bells" by tapping chimes attached to her torso and the other performed "Flight of the Bumblebee" as a chicken.

Munchinsky auditioned for the contest with a video that showed her hula hooping upside-down, on a unicycle, and even with a giant inflatable tire around her hips.

On her Facebook page, where she posts much of her work as "Christina the Crazy Hooper," Munchinsky says she has been hula hooping since she was five years old.

She previously performed on Canada's Got Talent, at Winnipeg's Comedy Fest and at Westman's Got Talent.
