This May Be The Most Canadian Costume You'll Ever See

It befell in the days of Sir Tim of House Horton, when he was hero of all Canada, that he wielded a sword and so enchanted the people of Anime North, that they might cement his legend in the Holy Book of Instagram.

With apologies to Sir Thomas Malory, compiler of Arthurian legends, that's our best attempt at describing a Tim Hortons knight costume that appeared at an anime convention in Toronto over the weekend.

Its armour, which was made of material such as cups and Timbit boxes, so impressed a patron that he posted a picture to Instagram.

The costume also drew praise from the Inside Timmies blog, which said the sword might be used to protect its baked goods and coffee.

This isn't the first time that the Tim Hortons knight has appeared at Anime North. It was also a hit last year, when onlookers posted several photos to Twitter.
