Only Mindy Kaling can make a haircut funny.
"The Mindy Project" star debuted a chic new bob on Monday and posted an Instagram photo to show it off. She captioned the pic, "Obsessed with my summer bob by @clarisshair. See ya sweaty neck, I got work to do."
You know what, Mindy? We totally get where you're coming from. Having long hair past your shoulders during the summer can be a pain in the you-know-what. Not only does your neck get sweaty but, depending on your hair type, your locks can frizz or go flat. Ugh.
Before Mindy cut off her raven locks, the author sported long, wavy tresses but it was definitely time for a chop. And she's not the only one who has gotten the so-called "summer bob."
Mandy Moore got a "bad-ass" cut last week and former "Friday Night Lights" star Minka Kelly got a shorter 'do, just in time for the steamy months ahead.
It's official then: the bob is the "it" cut of the summer!
