A police cruiser's shattered car-door window is among the disturbing images that have surfaced as a manhunt continues for suspect Justin Bourque in connection with shootings that left three Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers dead and two injured in Moncton, N.B. on Wednesday night.

Photos submitted to The Huffington Post Canada showed police tape surrounding an RCMP patrol car with a broken driver's side window, while another showed shattered glass and a red streak of what looks like blood on the ground around another vehicle.

One more photo showed broken windows on a Nissan with a trail of red liquid behind the car.

Meanwhile, images captured by The Canadian Press showed officers creating a perimeter in a street and urging business owners in a strip mall to shut down as they carried out the manhunt.
