Moncton RCMP Shooting Vigil Draws Hundreds Of Mourners (PHOTOS)

The falling rain did not deter hundreds of mourners from paying their respects Friday night to three officers who were killed in this week's shootings in Moncton, N.B.

People gathered to honour the memories of constables Fabrice Gevaudan, Douglas Larche and David Ross.

Mourners dropped off several flowers outside Codiac RCMP headquarters and signed a book of condolences set up next to portraits of all three officers.

People were visibly distraught as community members, police officers, emergency personnel and Canadian Forces members paid tribute to the fallen Mounties.

They also lined up to thank and embrace RCMP officers who were present at the memorial.

At one point, mourners broke into a quiet rendition of "Amazing Grace," CTV's Katie Simpson reported from the scene.
