Toronto Storm Timelapse Shows Nature's Fury (VIDEO)

A summer rainstorm blew into the GTA and southern Ontario on Tuesday. Global Toronto has this footage from a camera in Toronto's harbour that shows off the full power of the storm.

It's pretty cool to watch the clouds darken the sky about 35 seconds in and the camera zoom on a plane landing at the nearby island airport (we're guessing that wasn't the smoothest landing).

Fortunately, the city only suffered some scattered power outages due to last night's storm. The residents of Angus, Ont. weren't so lucky. The town was hit by a tornado that damaged dozens of homes.
