3 men arrested after threat made to bring rifle to Alberta school

LITTLE BUFFALO, Alta. - Three men are in custody after a gun threat was made at a school in a small community in northwest Alberta.

Mounties say staff at the school in Little Buffalo asked two men to leave the property this morning.

One of the men told staff he would return with a rifle.

Staff locked down the school and called Peace Regional RCMP.

They arrested three males but no charges were laid as of Thursday afternoon.

Little Buffalo is about 90 kilometres north east of Peace River.
