This GIF and video of a homemade version of the Hoth battle scene from "The Empire Strikes Back" is the best thing we've seen all week.

It's not the first time the guys at Cinefix have taken on a shot for shot recreation of an iconic Star Wars scene. Last year they recreated the Death Star trench run.

Here's to hoping the new Disney movies are half as cool.
