In Defence Of The Songs You Hate

In Defence Of The Songs You Hate
UMG / ARK / SBK

Google "worst songs" and you will come across countless listicles by everyone from NPR to Cracked waxing rhapsodic on just why they hate these songs so much.

Not me, though. I can defend pretty much any type of music. As far as I'm concerned, music is objective, and even if you or I don't enjoy a particular song, others do so it still can't be inherently "bad." (Unless it's creepy and, well, "Blurred Lines.")

So with that silver lining approach in mind, here's a defence of 20 of the purported worst songs ever recorded. Hair metal, club music, hip-pop, and whatever Kid Rock is –- it's all here, and it's much better than you think.

Just don't blame us when you start scouring the web for Right Said Fred reunion tickets.
