Quebec man killed by his own RV trailer in Campbellton

A 73-year-old man from Saint-Ignace, Que., has died after being struck by his own RV trailer in Campbellton, N.B., on Monday.

The Northeast District RCMP say the man was attempting to fix his RV trailer on Andrew Street around 12:30 p.m. when his pickup truck and the attached trailer started to roll down the hill.

He was run over by the vehicles, Cpl. Raphaël Vézina stated in a release.

The victim was transported to a hospital where he later died.

His name is not being released at the request of his family, said Vézina.

No one else was injured.
