People from around the world are offering up their souls for seduction in a mass meditation to bring them inner peace in the company of famed spiritualist Dr. Deepak Chopra, M.D.

For the event, called the Seduction of Spirit and taking place in Toronto, Chopra is joining forces with author Gabrielle Bernstein and humanitarian Maya Tiwari in what they hope will be the world's largest group meditation, breaking a Guinness World Record.

To do so, the event will have to draw 15,000 participants.

"This August in Toronto, participants will experience the tangible power of meditation and its life-transforming energy," says Chopra. "Together we will explore creative ways to respond to life's stresses and challenges as we let go of those habitual reactions that perpetuate discord and unhappiness."

Scheduled for 11:30 a.m. EST on August 8, the event will culminate a week of workshops on spiritual reflection, yoga and guided meditation.

Anyone is invited to register to live stream the event, and virtual participants will be accounted for in the world record headcount.
