Kolokythokeftedes: it sounds like a made-up word, but to Greeks, it means zucchini fritters.

Greek cuisine focuses on hearty soups, heavy appetizers and a whole lot of meats and seafood. Most of you may already know about Greek yogurt and Greek salad, but Greeks also love to use olives, vegetables and rice.

This week we talked to Toronto-based TV chef and author Christine Cushing, who says even some Greeks find Greek dishes hard to pronounce.
